Ombre Lips R Hot!...

Here is a sexy little look that can be achieved with 2 lip sticks. Besides looking super fashion forward, Ombre lips give the appearance of larger lips by countering with a darker shade around the outer area adds definition and a slightly softer tone in the center reflects light and creates the illusion of fuller juicer lips!  The key to achieving this fabulous look is to use to shades in the same color family and have them gradually fade into each other.

To achieve the look in the above picture, use a firm bush to precisely apply a deep red hue along the lip line and blend it toward the center. Then apply a paler bubblegum pink to the center of the top and bottom lips. Remember these are the colors we used to achieve this particular look, but you can have fun and try some different colors.

We all know by now that its important to exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells, environmental debris, makeup, and dirt. Exfoliation helps slush away old dirty skin cells to make room for new healthy cells. Our lips are no exception and need the same care, especially in the approaching fall and winter months. All you need is a toothbrush (soft bristle is best) and some Vaseline. First wet your lips with a bit of water, then apply a small amount of Vaseline to your tooth brush. Starting with your top lip and gently brush your lips in circular motion going around from top lip to bottom lip and back again. Continue brushing until you start to feel your lips becoming smooth. If you notice your lips start to peel gently continue brushing. When your done wipe off the excess Vaseline with a soft face cloth. Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette...

On a recent trip to my local Sephora I was introduced to their Moonshadow Baked Palette. These palettes come in two color themes: In The Nude and In The Dark. Both palettes come with 10 baked eye shadows that can be used wet or dry. I love these shadows and believe Sephora did a great job with them and the price point of $28 is well worth it. These shadows are highly pigmented, have minimal fall out, and both palettes come in great color selections for both natural and dramatic makeup looks.
