 Lately I have been seeing magazine ads showcasing Mattifying Nail Polishes. So I decided to have some fun with them and try something a little different. Step 1: To get this super sleek look you will need black nail polish (or another color), clear top coat, matte finish nail polish (I used GOSH), nail polish remover, Q-Tips Step 2: Clean your nails with some nail polish remover to remove any dirt or old nail polish Step 3: File your nails in the desired shape Step 4: Paint you nails with two coats of black nail polish. As you wait for your nail polish to dry, go ahead and clean any nail polish that may have gotten on your skin with a Q-Tip dipped in nail polish remover Step 5: Apply one coat of matte finish nail polish. A fresh pink glow , that is how I would describe NARS Orgasm.  I have been looking for a universal blush to add to my makeup kit for sometime now. I wanted a blush that would look great on all of my clients skin tones and a blush that had a subtle glow to it, with out looking to glittery. That is when my co-worker introduced me to my new bff. Its no wonder why NARS Orgasm is one of their best selling blushes, it is exactly what I was looking for. This blush is lovely, it gives your skin a fresh soft pink glow with a bit of shimmer from the little gold specs in it. I also like that these blushes do not have allot of fall out, so no product if being wasted and that is a plus for me. Hi my name is Allana and I am OBSESSED with nail polish! My nails are my accessory, I will not be caught dead with chipped nail polish, and to be sure they always look fresh- I usually change my nail polish every 3 days (though my boyfriend swears I paint them everyday lol) With that being said it is my pleasure to let you all know about Deborah Lippmann nail-polishes. They are super pigmented, creamy and give you a shiny even coat every time. They come in fun colors and one of the glitter-E-ist (<-that's a word) nail polishes I have come across in a long time. I bought my nail polishes in "Bad Romance" and  "Today Was A Fairytale". I will defiantly be adding more Deborah Lippmann nail polishes to my collection and so should you!

Unless you are a makeup artist, you probably have a  just few makeup brushes. Most of us don't wash our brushes daily and over time they can get pretty dirty (which is a great home for bad bacteria, which can lead to pimples and other skin disorders!) A great tip is to keep a spray bottle filled with 99% alcohol in your makeup kit. Spray your brushes with the alcohol and gently rub them in a circular motion onto a piece of paper towel. The alcohol will kill all bacteria and best of all they will dry within a minute or two, so you wont have to wait hours like you normally would after you wash them. After they are dry they are clean and ready to use! I, like many other woman, believe that your hair is your crown and glory. But instead of a diamond encrusted crown, lately my crown has been feeling like it was made of tin foil and masking tape.   As a makeup artist I am always looking around me for inspiration for my makeup looks. Nature and animals are my number one inspiration. Its as if their beauty is a window into a different world. So different, so perfect, all sorts shapes and beautiful colors that always seem to blend perfectly. This makeup look was inspired by this captivating image I found of a tiger. We all know by now that its important to exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells, environmental debris, makeup, and dirt. Exfoliation helps slush away old dirty skin cells to make room for new healthy cells. Our lips are no exception and need the same care, especially in the approaching fall and winter months. All you need is a toothbrush (soft bristle is best) and some Vaseline. First wet your lips with a bit of water, then apply a small amount of Vaseline to your tooth brush. Starting with your top lip and gently brush your lips in circular motion going around from top lip to bottom lip and back again. Continue brushing until you start to feel your lips becoming smooth. If you notice your lips start to peel gently continue brushing. When your done wipe off the excess Vaseline with a soft face cloth. Now apply your favorite chap stick and lip stick and your lips are kissable soft. ___________________________________________________________

  This fabulously beautiful look is sure to get you noticed. With just a few products you can achieve this look yourself. Best of all this look is versatile, if you don't have the products listed or the color, use what ever you have and have fun with it! Products Used: MUF eyeshadow #92 MAC Painterly Paint Pot MAC Magenta Madness Pigment MAC Silver Dusk Step 1:  Apply Painterly to the entire lid up to your brow. This will even out any pigmentation on your lids and also act as a eye primer.  Step 2: Apply MUF #92 from the outer corner of you eyelid to the center and blend out. Then take a pencil brush (MAC 219) and bring that color from your outer lash line to your inner lower lash line. Step 3: Blend out the purple eye shadow with a big fluffy brush like the MAC 224.
